So, I’ve been wrestling with this idea lately. A psychic medium told me I’d got multiple twin flames because of some “powerful energy” thing, but I always thought you only got one. It’s thrown me for a loop, and I’m not sure what to make of it. Has anyone else ever heard of this or had a similar experience? Please help. I feel a bit lost now.

This is one of those questions without a specific answer. From what I see, most of us believe that you only get one true twin flame and anything else is likely a karmic or perhaps soulmate if you have that kind of deep soul connection with them.
If you’re going to use a medium (or Tarot reader or astrologer etc…) I would use someone who is familar with twin flames specifically and maybe look for someone who shares the similar belief to the journey as you do, that way they don’t confuse you more than help.
Maybe they’re right. Maybe you do have multiple. Don’t let anyone else decide that for you. If you are here because of your journey with one person, trust your intuition and not a third party.
Plenty of people get confused, and a lot of information and opinions conflict with each other; that’s okay. It’s healthy to doubt and question. As @Chris said, I would trust you, perhaps not a random person.
I can’t speak to having multiple twin flames myself; I believe our journey is uniquely ours to discover and embrace. Maybe you do have more than one, maybe we all do, or maybe you’re the only one. Who knows.
Trust your intuition, follow your heart, and remember that no matter how many soul connections you have, each one is there to help you grow and shine your brightest light!

All the documentation and references we have to twin flames always talk about one other person; that’s what I believe we have, and it’s rare enough to even find that one.

I’ve heard similar stories (trust me, it’s confusing!), but that deep, unmistakable connection only happens with one person (though I’m open to being wrong).
Did the TFU guy not also claim his own daughter was his TF? He also claimed to be Jesus so that’s probably not a great source if that’s where you heard this…
The clear answer is, no, you cannot have more than one. Mainly because of the word “twin flame”. Twins are a pair. Therefore you can have only one. Some people may have false twin flames though, as well as karmics and soulmates.

I believe you can have more than one but only one will have all the energetic makeup to match your personal template or map. If the twin isn’t available you do need someone else to mirror and activate for you at certain times. I’ve had this happen with many others - strangers, my own kids, coworkers. I did meet one man who was energetically very close but he wasn’t ready for a connection like that. I no longer believe it has to be the twin in order to embody a sacred connection that is harmonized at all levels. A lot of the twin couples you see out there are in partial unions - not fully harmonized. Some twins will just not be able or choose to make all the shifts and upgrades so another needs to come in. This is really more about the Divine plan instead of a relationship with a preferred partner. Psychics have told me loads of things over the years. Some of it was true but a lot wasn’t.
The concept of multiple twin flames misunderstands what this connection truly represents - the rejoining of split soul energy.
While other soul connections (like soulmates) can feel intense and transformative, they serve different purposes than the twin flame dynamic.
We can still have profound connections with soulmates to help us grow, the twin flame dynamic is specifically about reuniting with our split soul energy, which by definition can only be one.

True twin flames share an unmistakable energetic signature - their auras seem to blend together, and I have never seen that with more than two people. I do not think we have multiple twin flames, your medium might be confused with other soul connections.

Multiple soulmates, one twin flame. Everyone’s experience is unique but I don’t see that ever changing.

, have you actually experienced having two twin flames yourself? Otherwise, I would just forget about it, they might be confusing karmic energy with someone else.
Sometimes it feels like your heart is being pulled in two directions, but that’s just part of the process. don’t let anyone tell you what your experience should be like - only you can really know what’s happening in your soul.
Be cautious when seeking guidance about your twin flame journey. While many energy workers and healers can offer valuable insights, not all who claim to have special abilities truly do and a lot of the general ones don’t really understand twin flames they just think it is another word for soulmate and you can have multiple SM’s.
Or there are ‘experts’ I have met whose auras were clouded and chakras misaligned - clear signs they weren’t as attuned as they claimed. They also just hear about the TF idea and don’t do their own research to what it means at all.
When you truly connect with your twin, you’ll feel it in your heart chakra and see it reflected in both your auras. No outside validation required. The path is deeply personal, and only you can navigate it authentically.
I have never felt this kind of energy with anyone else. One person is hard enough, how would we manage with two (or more)?
Maybe be open to the possibility but don’t try to force it. Maybe you have multiple, maybe you don’t have any at all. Focus on you and let your path unfold.
