I know that every journey is unique and different, but I think we talk about similarities often enough that I want to hear other people’s opinions on this.
Do twin flames look alike? At least partly?
I share some similarities to my DM so much that other people have commented on it and I saw a few posts saying something similar.
And if we do look alike, what causes it?

In my experience, twin flames often share an uncanny physical resemblance, as if nature itself is reflecting their deep spiritual connection through their earthly forms - it’s like looking in a mirror and seeing your soul’s other half staring back at you.
It’s more than “just” physical appearance.
Being alike can also manifest as a profound energetic similarity that others can sense… intuitively. They look at you and they see your twin flame.
I don’t look like my DM in the traditional sense but friends and strangers alike have remarked on our striking similarities in mannerisms, speech patterns and just “something about us”.
Our shared soul just shines through even when our features differ. This soul-deep connection seems to override surface-level differences.
I think we are the same. My twin and I don’t look alike physically (very far apart in some ways), but we have this similar energy that people pick up on.
I would not worry if you do not look alike. I think it probably can happen but it won’t always.
My DM and I have this weird thing where we sometimes make the exact same facial expression without realizing it, and friends have pointed it out. I think it’s less about physical appearance and more about energy alignment—like we’re on the same wavelength, and it shows through in subtle ways.
My twin and I don’t look entirely alike but there are some very striking physical similarities – especially our eyes and smile. When we both smile it’s like looking in a mirror even though physically we are very different.
My best friend once tapped my twin on the shoulder thinking it was me LOL. Probably says it all. 
My eye color changes when I’m around my TF sometimes.

I don’t think everyone has this, but it must be common enough between real TFs. Maybe this transformation extends to our physical appearance in subtle ways.
Physical similarities between twin flames aren’t universal, but many pairs share subtle features - similar eye shapes, facial expressions, or even the way they move.
The resemblance often surprises others who notice it before we do.
I think this always happens, at least to some degree. Usually, eyes, mouth or hands look the same. I think it’s because we’re energetically connected at such a deep level that it manifests in our physical appearance, almost like we’re unconsciously mirroring each other over time.
Um, I think… maybe… when my twin and I are together, people sometimes… I don’t know, they might mistake us for siblings? It’s not just our looks, I guess… It’s like we give off this… energy? Or something? That makes us seem related? I’m not sure if it’s my DM or what, but… yeah, it’s weird. I could be wrong though. Maybe I’m imagining it?
It’s funny because my twin and I have completely different styles, yet people always say we look like we belong together. I don’t think we look the same, but other people seem to.
It is well known that the longer we spend time with certain individuals, the more we begin to mimic them and vice versa, as our connection with them grows.
This includes spoken words and phrases, manerisms, behaviour etc.
Perhaps it is indeed possible that, over time, our physical apperence begins to change and we begin to look more and more like them as well.
In some cases even a low level telepathic connection can be established.
I can attest that lately, I have been able to tell, at an intuitive level, when my significant other is going text me, before I receive their message.
If you and your twin have a striking physical resemblance, then it may be because you have spent a great deal of time together in previous lives.
And I suspect the connection can go even deeper. When I first met my twin in this lifetime, I was shocked when I saw their cursive hand writing. There is defintitly a strong resemblance between theirs and mine. As if I was the one who wrote the words, not them. 
(Side note: Could they easily forge my signature if they wanted to?

Physical resemblance between twin flames varies widely - some look nothing alike while others could be siblings. The connection exists at the soul level regardless.
Looking alike isn’t evidence of a twin flame connection, just as looking different doesn’t disprove one. The true connection is energetic, not physical.
