So … in my very original post seeking feedback if I were the runner … turns out the DM wasn’t who I thought he was in a case of serious mistaken identity I had my true DM mixed up with another guy - who really is the EXACT opposite of me in every way! I’m laughing so hard because what’s life without a little cray cray right?!
Fast forward a couple of weeks and outta nowhere DM finds me! Goes out of his way to get me to notice him, only I’m not noticing him because I’m looking for another man’s face! Everything else about this True DM matches the pseudo except the face!
I felt so shy … I am not a shy person but I felt this intensely.
So once my embarrassment fizzled out I sent thoughts of I’m sorry I didn’t recognise you but I love you and wish you well! Then I said find me.
That was a week ago - he found me today!!! He messaged me, via marketplace on FB but it’s HIM!!! I’m so thrilled not for any outcome other than he found me. I did respond to the item but then he quickly replied that he’ll find something else. I felt the nerves and anxiety reading it so I just gently sent “it’s ok” and thumbs up (my go to for platonic response).
I feel like he’s ok now though … and I’m super proud of him
