I was scrolling through TikTok the other day and stumbled upon this trend about soulmate initials on left thumbs. Curiosity got the better of me, so I spent ten minutes examining my thumb under different lights. I swear I could make out my twin’s initial hidden in the lines and creases. It doesn’t look like an obvious birthmark or anything, but now that I see it, I can’t stop seeing it.

I don’t think this is a new twin flame or TikTok thing… my grandma told me this when I was a child but I’d completely buried that memory. We used to look at the fingerprint on my thumb looking for an initial.

I looked up the trend and it seems to be on the back of your hand on the knuckle.
Fuck me… I would never have looked at it but right away the very first thing I see. Dead in the middle 100% her exact initials.

Wow, that’s so cool you noticed your twin’s initial! I’ve been staring at my thumb for ages now and can’t see anything, but maybe I’m just not looking at it the right way. I think it is there but a little faint… how clear is it supposed to be?

It looks like some people are just looking for the first letter, I’m not sure what the trend was or the history of the idea behind this. I just saw both on mine but I was looking into it a bit more and thought I would share.

Thanks to @Chris for the images making this a little clearer (I was thinking fingerprint as well).
I don’t personally think this is a thing. Our minds are meant to look for patterns and you might be finding a pattern in part of your skin that is covered in patterns.
AND I SAY THIS BECAUSE I DON’T WANT ANYONE UPSET LOOKING AT THEIR THUMB. The reality is I don’t know. I don’t know where this comes from and it seems too easy.
Now, looking at my own thumb I can see his initial… sort of. It’s not like it’s clearly written but I can see it if I looked at it. That might just be my mind finding the pattern, but who knows?
Interesting thought either way.

I saw this before and yes, their initials are there, but his initials spell out BS (fitting for his actions). Spirit has a sense of humor.

I saw this a while ago and immediately checked… yes. Sure enough. A-shaped mark in the middle of my thumb. It’s not like I needed another sign, but this is an obvious one.

I can’t find their initials on either thumb, but I do see their initials in other strange places. Maybe I am just looking at the wrong spot on my hand…
As dumb as this trend sounds, i did look at my thumb. And i saw a J and quite possibly a U, but my biggest confirmation is when I had a boy doll when I was seven that I named the same name as him. He is seven years my junior.

I had a very similar experience. The trend sounds dumb and it probably is… but then I look and I see their first initial (which is what it’s supposed to be).

I noticed an initial on my left palm when I was only 8 years old. I had an accident few weeks before I noticed the initial. It is the letter S. Now, 40 years later i had lots of visions about my soulmate and he helped me to find my twinflame. Both of them have names starting with letter S.
Once in a while i have dreams about my soulmate. But my twinflame i are in " in contact separation " for last 3 years. He can see me and we communicate via telepathy. And he make sure to walk around every now and then just so i can see him…we’re just few minutes away from each other’s apartments.
